Lorenzo's Sister Olivia

Lorenzo said that from what he had heard about Olivia before he met her that she was crazy.  She seemed to get into trouble all the time. She was not a responsible person. She had failed her high school exams and ran away from home a couple of times. Their father had to keep helping her get out of trouble. The way she talked when she was looking for the box sounded like she was very angry. I think that she is the kind of person who blames other people when things go wrong for her. I also think that she is selfish because she was willing to get Lorenzo into trouble if he did not let her in the cellar. She was 23 years old when she found Lorenzo in the cellar, and she did not have any money or a place to sleep.

Chapter 5 of Me and You - Plot Twist

Lorenzo’s phone starts ringing. At first he thought that it was his mother. He looked at the phone, but he did not recognize the number. He answered the phone, and it was his half-sister Olivia. She was the daughter of Lorenzo’s father and his ex-wife who was a dentist. Lorenzo did not know her very well. The last time he had seen her, he was 12 and she was 21. He said that he expected her to be ugly, but she was beautiful. Olivia asked Lorenzo some questions about whether his parents were home. He thought that the questions were crazy. He had to be careful how he answered them, because he thought that it might be a trick.

A little later, Lorenzo was taking a nap, and he heard somebody trying to unlock the door to the cellar. He heard them come in, and he tried to hide. It was his sister Olivia. She said that she was looking for a box with her name on it. They found the box, but what she was looking for was not there. She asked Lorenzo if he had any money. He had some money, but he told her that he did not. He asked her not to tell anyone where he was, and she left.

After Olivia left, Lorenzo found a letter that she had written to their father. In the letter, she said that she hated him and asked him not to help her out anymore. She was always getting into trouble, and the father would help her. In the letter, she said that if she wrote a book about her life, the chapter on her father would be called “Diary of a Hatred”.  Lorenzo could not understand why she hated their father.

Later, someone was knocking on the window. It was Olivia. She had nowhere to sleep and asked Lorenzo if she could sleep in the cellar. He kept telling her no. He was not going to let her stay there, but she said that she would tell everyone where he was. He had to let her in.

Lorenzo's mother want to park the car between two car, then she make some accident, there is a yellow smart car glued the back door of the BMW,  and The car door flew open and spat out the trunk of a man who had to be at least six feet tall and three feet wide. The guy in this smart car, then the guy said his car is very expensive, and the guy also throw Lorenzo's mother on the ground, said many bad things to Lorenzo's mother, I think that make Lorenzo feel , because I can feel he was angry, he really want to help her mother to do something, but he can't do anything, he just hate that man.it makes Lorenzo to think what should he do

Chapter 3 of Me and You

When the chapter begins, Lorenzo is still hiding in the cellar of the building where he lives. He says that the cellar is nice and warm. He spent the morning reading and sleeping, and had a piece of candy for lunch. He imagined that there had been an alien invasion and that he was the only person left alive in Rome. In his imagination, he thought that he could not get out of the cellar until the aliens went back to their planet. They would go back to their planet in one week, which was the same time that the ski trip would end.

Lorenzo put his cell phone by the window where he could get a better signal and fell asleep. Later, the phone was ringing and woke him up. It was his mother. Lorenzo’s mother was asking about the trip and the weather. He said that the trip was good. Lorenzo told his mother that he was at a pizza place. He was a little nervous telling his mother about the weather and tried not to say anything wrong. His mother asked to speak with Alessia’s mother, and Lorenzo said that she was not there. His mother told him that she would call back the next day and that he better put her on the phone or have Alessia’s mother call her. Lorenzo pretended that his pizza was ready and got off the phone. He knew that he needed to come up with a really good story to get his mother to stop asking to speak with Alessia’s mother.

At the end of the chapter, Lorenzo started to imagine what his mother must be doing. She was three floors above him in the same building.  He put on his headphones and a song started to play that he hated, so he took his headphones off.

Lorenzo is the most important character in the book“Me and you", he is a strange boy, but I read two chapter of the book, I think I like this character.
Rorenzo is a very strange boy, he always trick his parents, and he don't want to be near with anyone, in the first chapter, he trick his mother said he need to go to his friend's house to spend his ski week. His mother was happy and want to take he to his friends house, but Lorenzo don't want his mother know he was trick her, so he want his mother drop he off the car in the middle way, he was very smart. He told her mother,“Let me go by myself. I can’t turn up with my mummy. They’ll make fun of me.” And when his mother let he go, he know he can't go to his grandma's house, his grandma is in hospail, so he find a new place, his house's base room, I just think Lorenzo is a very clever person, he can think those things very fast, and don't let his mother know.

Me and You - First Chapter

After reading the first chapter of “Me and You”, I think that I might like the book. One of the first things that I thought was that Lorenzo may have something wrong with his head, because he got so angry in the car with his mother. Then, I found out that he was angry because he wanted to trick his parents into thinking that he was going skiing. This made me wonder why he would do such a thing. I also wonder what will happen when his parents find out that he did not go skiing. The one thing that I did not like is that sometimes Lorenzo describes things too much. Other than that, the book seems good so far.
