This is a review of the book Persepolis. This is a very good book and I like it a lot.

The book is about when their country had a revolution. The story is told by a little girl named Marji. She lived in Iran.

At first she went to a French school that had boys and girls. After the revolution her school was closed. She went to school with only girls. I like the way she talks about her country’s history and what happens in her family. She loved her country. She could not understand why things had become so bad.

I liked the character Marji. She was very smart but seemed a little naughty. She talked about what happened to her family and people that they knew. But the book has many drawings and the drawings help me understand. In the book the old leader was bad. People were happy when he was gone. Then the new leaders were worse.

This is a review of the book Persepolis.  This book is very good and I like it a lot.

The book is about when Iran had its revolution, and a little girl named Marji tells the story.  She lived in Iran in 1979 at the time of their revolution.

Before the revolution, Marji went to a French school that had boys and girls.  After the revolution, all foreign schools were closed, and boys and girls went to different schools.  I like the way that the book talks about Iran’s history and Marji describes what happened in her own family.  She loved her country but could not understand how things could be worse with the new leaders.

In the book, the old leader was bad.  People were very happy when he was gone. Then, the new leaders were worse than the old leader.  Things had changed, and were worse.
