Ellen thinks that it is important
to check out the social scene. Ellen thinks that Sookan should go to a mixer or
to spend an evening playing bridge.

How does her friendship with Ellen make Sookan
reconsider her future?
Sookan saw that Ellen was in charge of her own life and
could figure out what made her happy. She was so happy and in love with Kyle.

Do you think that Sookan is right to listen to
Ellen or should she follow the model of her sister instead?
Sookan should listen to Ellen. I
think that Sookan would be happier if she listens to Ellen. She loves her
sister, and maybe her sister loves her. But, her sister does not think about
what Sookan wants. Her sister only thinks about what her sister wants.
